A young man faced public embarrassment when his one-month girlfriend rejected his marriage proposal, despite him offering a brand new Lexus car.

The awkward moment, captured in a viral video, saw the girlfriend turning down the proposal, citing their short courtship.

Onlookers encouraged her to accept, but she remained adamant, telling her boyfriend to stand up.
