Blind lady married to lawyer says her husband is handsome and she can see her child
An emotional story of a blind young lady and her husband, a lawyer, has attracted plenty of attention online.
The blind lady, Amarachi Chioma Ohaeri and her husband, ThankGod Onyekwere Ohaeri, shared how they have been coping in their marriage despite some objections from some quarters.
In an interview with BBC Pidgin, Amarachi, a civil servant at the Ministry of Education, said that although she’s blind, she can do every household chore like cooking, cleaning, and washing clothes.
Amarachi believes her husband is handsome, adding that she likes him because he is God-fearing and doesn’t womanise.

On his part, ThankGod said his wife is a beautiful woman and that he appreciates her very much. He revealed that he is partially blind and can’t read from a book with tiny lettering but can walk comfortably.
The couple revealed that they have a child together and are also expecting another; Amarachi added that she sees her child spiritually and knows what he looks like.
Amarachi said her parents blessed her union, but her husband’s family has not given their marriage approval until now.
However, she added that her mother-in-law recently visited them and discovered that things are not that bad.
